Blend door problem and extended warranty

I'm having a blend door problem with the AC/heat control in vent mode not letting cool outside air in, only hot heater air. I have the Ford basecare extended warranty thats good until July of 2004. Is this covered? Anyone have this fixed under their extended Ford warranty? If not I don't want to take it to the dealer to get raked over the coals to pull the dash. Thanks...

Call and ask them.... Also if they say no, there is a blend door fix in the useful thread forum I believe
