Blend Door Question

Thinking about getting another Explorer. I have had a 1997 Limited for years. Love it, but the blend door causes problems in the winter. Does anyone know in what year this flaw was corrected?

It never was really fixed. Search for "blend Door" and you should find a thread on how to fix it.

Yeah...it sounds intimidating, but it's actually an easy fix. The dealer will do it for about $1200...you can do it for about $17 and an hour or two.
