Okay so my blend gate motor went bad on my 1998 5.0 EB edition (what else is new right), so i went and ordered another motor from the local auto store, got it and before putting it in i figure would test it. Plug it in but nothing, trying to switch between cold and hot nothing the motor, would not turn whatsoever (btw the motor was brand new). So i had no choice but to return it back to the store, and just turn the door by hand and leave it in AC mode only for now till winter.

now my question is, what could be wrong??? is it the wiring, or a fuse gone bad if so which fuse number would that be?? btw i have the digital control unit...give me some tips guys thanx.

The blend door is broken. They crack at the top where the motor shaft connects. This is a common failure. There are a couple tricks to rig this to work if you dont want to replace the blend door. Search under "Blend Door"
