Blower FAn 95 Explorer

I have a 95 Explorer, the blower fan for heat and/or AC will only work at full speed. I have the automatic temp. control. We have service manual. Tested blower fan by itself and it would vary in speed. Could it be the motor speed control unit? Does anyone know how to test this, or other suggestions.

Check any relays in line of the power supply. Good luck, this can be a pain unless you know what you are doing.

Ok look in your owner's manual and locate the fuse and/or relay that is labeled "blower motor". Then take a look at those and see if they are bad. It sounds to me like the "high speed blower" connection is still working but the low speed isn't.
