What are those Headlight Bulbs that have a blue color to them? who makes em? how do they compare to silverstars?

The blue ones you see on high end cars like bmw, mercedes, and such are h.i.d's
and are very expensive (starting at like 200 for a cheap set). They do make blue bulbs like euro dezigns and stuff that sell for like 6$ on ebay but the light output is garbage as would be any other halogen color bulb.

Silverstars are the brightest and whitest halogens I have been able to find and they usually last awhile too. H.I.D's are very bright and have alot of usable light when the color temp or Kalvin is kept to a lower number such as 3200K or for white and for blue and most usable light would be around 5000k. Hope this helps you out with your question.

I've got Blue Eurodezigns, you can get them off ebay.
They look pretty cool, and I really like them, but they absolutly suck monkey balls in poor weather.
Fog and/or rain rolls in and I can't see squat.
It's all a trade off, and all dependent on if you just want the look, or if you want the performance too.
If/when I get the time/money, HID is the way to go, as has been said, anything else, like my Eurodezign bulbs, is just a poor imitation.
Thats the unbiased truth. :)

check out like pep boys they have a silverstar with a blueish tint
