Blue light under dash drivers side

had vehicle almost two months. learning its quirks. Interior overhead light has come on while driving a few times, if I open door and slam, it goes out. 2 days ago, turn the key and nothing happened, no noise, nothing. Turned key again, started up normally. tonight I get home from work, shut off engine and notice for first time small blue light, illuminated, hanging under dash that i can’t get to turn off. first time seeing this. turned the ignition ,it started but ran a bit rough. Shut it off , light is still on. Any idea what this light is and what it means?

Interior lights issue most likely the ignition switch - look through this:

Not aware of any blue lights under the dash - likely something aftermarket. Did the previous owner add remote start?
