Hey y'all, I just wrapped up installing a body lift on my '96 Sport. Thanks a lot to those that have posted details on these installs; you were a huge help. I'll post photos after I get my wheels and tires. In the meantime, here's my problem.
I completed install of the body lift, started my truck, and pulled it out of my garage. All is well! Truck looks good except the puny tires. I kick open the doors and begin reassembling the interior. I notice my airbag light is blinking. Puzzled, I kill the truck and wrap up the interior work. I pull the air bag fuses, make sure all is well - and it was. Reinstall the fuses, attempt to restart the truck. No dice. My truck will not start. It just cranks and cranks. This is highly unusual for ol' faithful.
It seems like it's not getting fuel. However, I feel like there could be a connected between the air bag issue and the no starting problem. Anybody experienced anything similar?
Unfortunately, I didn't count the air bag light blinks before I killed the truck. And, I noticed the electric windows rolled up slowly when I gave up and left the truck outside. Could be an inadequate power issue even though the battery is only a couple of years ago. This is where I'll start when I resume in a couple of days.
Thanks!
