After years of procrastinating, finally getting around to installing a 3" body lift on the Sport to clear 33's, (I already have a 2" Suspension lift), Have a question, Besides the shifter extension, Fan shroud, steering extension what other modifications/fabrications am I looking at to accomplish this? What did you all do (that have body lifts) about the fuel filler hose? Last truck I body lifted was a 1981 Chevy Luv, That one took about three hours and a 12 pack of cold friends!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Bump,Bump...can I do that?? if not I do aplogize, just looking for some advice concerning my post above

the filler hose should have enough slack in it to clear 3". the only ofhter thing i can think of is the brake lines, but im sure you already thought of that.

you do not need to do anything with the brake lines or the filler hose. it looks like you covered everything but the e-brake cable extension, bumper brackets and drilling a hole in the rear bumper behind the license plate to gain access to remove your spare tire. and you might have to trim the fenders some with 33's to get full turning radius.

Thanks for all the reply's, The kit does come with bumper relocation brackets. I think instead of moving the fan shroud, I am going to move the radiator down in order not to twist, bind, kink the radiator hoses.

Thanks again

i had shackles, f250 spacers, and a 3 inch BL and the 32x11.5x15s still rubbed at full turn. I used the dremmel and fixed that;)... The filler neck wont kink or anything. You can use the relocation for the fan shroud, my hoses didnt bind or anything. I didnt use the sterring extension, steering had a few ruff spots in it though, nothin i couldnt live with. The bumpper lift brackets, in back, reqcuire some trimming of the bumper to fit properly. Its not that big of a deal though. it took me like twenty mins to get that settled. youll figure it out once you get that far. it shouldnt take you that long if you can get a few guys on your side, i did mine when i was sixteen, i did all the work myself and i had it out driving a day and half after i started. I think the hardest bracketry to mess with is getting the rear bumper brackets to work, might be easier to build your own.... if you have any question go ahead and pm or email me at crazybladetaxi@hotmail.com good luck

has anybody lengthened their filler neck?

i'm trying ot figure out how to do this...
