Will I run into problems with the manual transfer case lever in the floor? I have an auto trans with a manual transfer case. The instructions for the 2 inch kit only mention problems with the manual transmission shifter hole having to be modified. TIA for any responses.

Mine was okay after a 2" body lift, but I trimmed a smidgeon of metal that stuck out from under the plastic piece that holds the boot down closer to the seats.

It kind of mashes the boot up when I go 4 lo but it works okay. I have manual tranny too, so I don`t know if yours is different.

I couldn`t find any extensions for sale at the time. you would have to cut and weld I think if you wanted to raise it up.

Hey thanks, I was beginning to wunder if anyone was going to respond. I usually get answers in hours not days. We must have fairly rare explorers with manual transfer cases. Thanks again.

the only problems i've noticed was just like what ld50 said...i have to push down on my boot to disengage 4lo....that's the only problem i've noticed with my 2" body lift. and mine is an auto.
