Body panel and parts interchange?

Hey there, are most 2nd gen body panels interchangeable? With the exception of the back hatch, most look like they would swap out from one to another. The reason I ask is because I have a '97 and need a new front bumper but I prefer the look of the one that was on my '99 with the round fog lights. Also, if it is a direct bolt on will the wiring hook up directly for the fog lights or will I have to change the connectors?

its direct i put an entire 2000 front bumper with fogs in and it was as direct plug in and bolt on

I believe the fog lights have different connectors? I might be wrong and honestly it doesn't matter. Not to hard to put new connectors on one end
