Can you please provide us with a little more info like what you intend to use these tires for and what tire size you're aiming for (diameter wise - because tread pattern makes the most difference at larger diameters)?

I would say that if the tire you're looking to run is 31" or smaller, then the thread pattern doesnt really make and difference between the Bogger and the TSL ("radial" or "SX" -- the bogger and T-bird are also "TSL" tires). As for the T-bird, it is not comparable to the other two as it is an "all-terrain" tire.

all i can say is my radial tsl ssr's are LOUD !!!!!!!!!! oooooo, but there cool look'n !

tire is a 35 or 35 12.50 to a 13.50 and i am using them for eastcoast offroading some rock krawlin basic muddin and trail i have my 33 terra grapplers for on road use so tread wear isnt a issue

Boggers it is then :D Or some other Bias-ply (non riadial) tire.

yeah i was definatly going with a bias but didnt know for sure on what style tire

boggers in the back and tsl's in the front...tear it up

y tsl's in the front cause boggers have no lateral traction

yup, you got it...some people have problems with lateral traction on the boggers, others dont...your call...if you think your going to need a bunch of it, get the tsl's...they are still pretty darn aggressive

Thornbirds are never a good answer for any rig :thumbdwn:

TSL SX for a good all around off road rig. But if it's JUST mud it's gotta be boggers. (yea I'm late, but I'm new! :p: )

thanks guys

i used to work at the ben tire warehouse in indiana, every 1 out of 4 thornbirds we sold one came back because of defect, usually a torn off lug, driving them on pavement tears them up fast, about 1 out of 10 tsl came back for the same reason, but i hardly ever seen a bogger come back, man i used to unload semi's full of boggers, irocs, swampers, I wanted a set so bad i wanted to sneek a set out to my truck, lol

I agree with the Thornbird bashing.. Only reason I have'em is because my brother in law had a set of rims I wanted, and he wouldnt take the tires off.. So I bought 4 white spoked rims and got 4 free thornbirds heh. They have a good side, slide into a rut that your buddy with 38x15.50s made, and your' golden. The side lug is CRAZY when it hits.. Other than that, since the tread pattern is so long, they suck.

But anyways, since you have a street tire I'd buy a bogger. No other tire imo anymore, and I used to hate them because everyone used them.. Now I know why.
