I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a borgeson or flaming river steering shaft in their ex?

i need to eventually get a new steering shaft and have come up with these two. the price for eithier one is about the same so price really doesn't matter.
just looking for some advice.

also does anyone out there know the spline count on a 94 ranger or explorer steering box?
i dont know this information and need it in order to order one of these steering shafts.

thanks

Borgeson.

Why do you need a new shaft?
I have 275K miles on mine :)

found out that the play in my steering is comming form a bad joint from the steering shaft i have right now. so the price to get the same one and one from flaming river or borgeson are about the same. so i want to try one of these out. i pretty sure these steering shafts are a lot better than the stock one.
