Hi Guys

I have a 95 Explorer. Yesterday I replaced the left front wheel hub. I did not change the sensor on it because it is fairly new. Now my problem is that sometimes I loose my brakes and sometimes I don't. It only happens when my wife drives it. There is not ABS light on. I unhooked the battery tonight for awhile and reconnect it then drove it. The brake seems to be fine. Do you guys have any ideas why the brakes acting like this?

Thank You

ABS light off means the system is working correctly. The hub itself really has no effect on the brakes. First check for leaking brake fluid. After that, I would suspect you got air in the brake lines when you removed the caliper during the hub replacement and need to bleed the system. The other possibility is the flexible brake line got kinked or twisted when reinstalling the caliper.
