I recently changed the rotors on my '91. When I turned in the drivers side piston with a C-clamp, it forced fluid out of the top of the master cylinder because I turned it in too fast. Since then, I have very little pedal unless I pump it several times. Even then it doesn't always come back up. It is unsafe to drive.
I bled the brakes, checked the fluid level, and there are no leaks in system.
The only thing I know left to do is replace the master cylinder. Could it have something to do with the rear ABS? I read a post about adjusting the booster rod, would that help?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob Seeley

it sounds as if you did not bleed the brakes properly....bleed them again with a friend to help you....

Also sounds like to me you didn't bleed them good. Try again.

I've bled them 3 times with no results. It does indeed feel as though they still need bleeding. However, I feel very confident that that is not the problem. I got no air out of the lines, just a nice steady steam of fluid. Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Rob
