brake job parts list order???

hello
so i am gonna do a front brake job, rebuild calipers, new rotors, pads and brake lines. i going to order all the stuff online (cant beat the price) and i just wanted to know if there is anything i need to make sure i get?? also should i get all new bolts?

I can't comment as to whether or not the parts list is 100% accurate, but I can tell you that I've gotten 195k miles out of mine by just changing the pads and rotors when necessary. The other day I noticed my brake lines were looking to be in need of replacing.

In a nutshell, I agree with doing the lines and rebuilding the calipers on your explorer. Especially if they're all original and the truck is 15 years old. As for replacing the bolts, it's hard to argue against something that makes the vehicle safer to drive and operate, so go for it!

Bleeding the brakes is very important you fluid should be completly changed every couple of years fresh brake fluid can make a huge difference in braking performance. You shouldn't need to replace the caliper to bracket bolts, and it wouldn't hurt to replace the caliper bracket to spindle bolts, and make sure to apply lock tite and torque them to the proper specs.

hello gotta love the rust belt
i know im probly going over board with stuff like new bolts but this truck is rusted i mean RUSTED and the prices are so cheap its hard not to replace them. i just did rear shocks and had to cut 5 of the 6 bolts off with a saw zall
as for the lines does anyone know where i can get a diagram of some kind showing where/how they run?
