Okay, my brake lights went out, and trial and error (as far as I could) lead me to get a new brake light switch.
Most accounts that I have found here say that this is a 1 minute job, but 45 minutes later, I still couldn't get the enough movement on the pushrod to put the retainer back in. The plastic washers get in the way, as well as the bushing. I assume I can't just leave these out.
Do I need to bend the switch or use clamps?
TIA.
PS have a 93, but I don't think that matters
