i lost pressure on my brakes today and came so close into rear ending a toyota corrolla. the culprit is a hose in the left rear. it is connected to the brake assembly on the wheel...is this something easy to fix or do i have to go to a shop? where can i get parts? as soon as i figure out how to post a pic i'll put one up..

Do you have any enemies? :P

Good thing no-one got hurt. Must have been scary. You should be able to get the part at a dealer. It's not a hard repair as long as there is still brake fluid above the master cylinder.

It should be obvious how to remove the line using crecent wrenches, but be very careful when applying pressure to the hard metal line. Make sure the area around the open lines is clean, dirt is a brake system's enemy.

Once the line is replaced, bleed the brakes. There is a procedure posted on here, search and ye shall find.

can some one tell me how to replace this hose. thanks!
