1999 ford explorer 4.0 v6
I'm new to this site. I need help bad. I have a 99 explorer with a 4.0 sohc v6 xlt. I have replaced the back rotors and calipers and pads. As well as the front. I have also replaced the master cyclinder and bled the brakes. I have great pedal pressure when the car is off but when I crank it the pedal goes to the floor. I'm getting very frustrated. Can someone please help me

Did you pull the reservoir dry when bleeding. If so you likely introduced air into the ABS. It does sound like there is still air in there somewhere.

It sounds like a bad booster, esp since you mentioned the 'swooshing' sound.

In addition, you may want to check the booster push rod length since you replaced the MC.
