I know this general topic has been covered to death, but I think my situation is a little more unique...

I just bought a 99 Sport yesterday and am noticing on certain roads and certain places it will pull (sometimes pretty hard) to the right when braking. On flat and un-rutted roads it will stop nice and straight... but get on certain sections of road and it will want to pull into the other lane... I drive the same way to work every day and every time I go over certain sections it pulls really bad. Obviously the road is bringing out whatever is the problem, but I don't think this should be happening, my other cars do not pull either way at these same places.

The dealership that sold me the vehicle said the brakes checked out perfectly (of course)... but it makes sense since most of the time it actually stops pretty straight. I did notice that on poor sections of roads it does have a tendancy to slightly drift right, maybe I just need an alignment? Maybe a bushing? Though I would think that's a little early for them to be wearing out! Tire pressure is equal all around, on new tires.

What do you guys think?

Try swapping the front tires side to side. I'd have the alingment checked.

I'll give the tire swap a try... I had an alignment done today, but it still didn't help...

I noticed that the back bumper looks like it was bumped into at one point, the drivers side is pushed in about an inch. I looked underneath at the time of purchase and could locate no damage besides bending one bracket the bumper bolts to... think this could be more serious than it appears? Anythign to check?
