Just got my truck back from the shop, after getting new shocks, and new brakes all around. (The rotors were replaced in the front, and it was also aligned.) Now it pulls a little to the right.
I did hit a big pothole, moments after I got the truck back. Did this throw the alignment off? And if so, should this happen?
Thanks, Michael

The alignment can be thrown off if you hit a pothole hard enough.. Just take it to the shop where you got your shocks done and tell them your alignment is not right..

That's what I figured, although, I'm sure I've hit many potholes before (with non-existant shocks) and it never threw the alignment off.
Thanks, Michael.

I used the same excuse along time ago on my Blazer.. I think I took it to NTB or Sears and after a day I called the shop and asked them why my steering wheel pulls to the left.. I paid for an alignment so I just took it back and had them re-do it.. Does it pull all the time or only when you hit the brakes?

Only when I'm on the brakes. I took it back today, and it seems much better now. But there is still a tiny pull to the right. I guess I should check tire pressure etc.
One thing is that they snapped off a bolt that holds one of the shocks in by the frame. They had a big problem getting a new bolt (one week) and in resolving this issue in particular. I wonder if this has anything to do with it.
Even with bad brakes (kinda eaten up roters) and totally rusted out shocks, it drove completely straight when I was on the brakes before I took it to the shop.
Michael.
