Chilton or Haynes manuals are can be your best friend. its not hard, but try a search for manual hub conversion (i know your are not converting but they have steps on how to remove the hub and the parts on the axle shaft). follow the steps to remove the hub (doesnt matter if you have manual or auto-lock hubs from the factory, the removal is the same). then all you have to do is un-hook the brake caliper (tie it up so it doesnt hang by the brake line), then slide the rotor off.
