i just got a richmond 4.56 gear and lock right put in what is the proper way to break it in?

Drive normally for 50 miles

When I regeared Randy's Ring and Pinion told me to not put a heavy load on it ( hard acceleration or towing) for the first 500 miles. In addition they said that for the first 50 I should only drive for about 15 minutes then pull over to allow the gears to cool down. wait 15-20 min and drive for another 15. I followed their advice and have had no concerns.
