I was stupid and just broke off the larger of the two bolts that holds the front ABS sensor in place. The smaller 12 pt bolt is still on there. It's all that is holding the sensor in place. I have trouble finding the correct replacement bolt at a hardware store. It was 8mm head, kind of long. But the threads...
Do I need this bolt? Or can I go without it?

Not sure if you need it, but if you're like me, I like everything to be just like it was before I started putzing with it. You should be able to remove it using an easy-out. If that won't work, I've been know to re-drill the hole using a the same size bit, then re-tapping using a slightly bigger thread, and a matching bolt. With a little work you should be able to fix it.
