I have an 84 Bronco II that is leaking oil out of the fuel pump. It is the 2.8 V-6 with the manual pump. What all do I have to remove to get this pump off?
Yep, that's it. And torque the bolts between 14-21 Ft-Lbs.
Also if the rubber is cracked going to pump, you need to replace.
And if you want to pressure test the pump then the reading your looking for is 4.5 - 6.5 PSI after 30 seconds of running. There will be enough fuel in the bowl to do this even though the line is disconnected to the carb and pressure gauge connected to the end.
