Question, I have the brown wire mod, (puts only power to the rear wheels). I know my front shafts and other internals are still spinning just not recieving power to them. Question is: If i put a locker in my dana 35 will it still eat my tires since they will have to spin together, even though they aren't getting power? And if that answer is yes what is a good locker but not super aggressive to put in my ifs. I have 4.56 gears and 35's.

Depends on your year. If you have a 95 or 96 you have a vacuum disconnect. There is a thread on how to wire a switch into that also. That would allow the wheels to spin independently.

If the locker is left unlocked it wont make any difference.

A locker is not a spool.
