brown wire mod question

Yeah, after I installed my locker, I tried some stuff out just to see and found out that the front is engaged quite often. With my front locker there is no doubt when the front kicks in on pavement, even if I am going straight. I believe we used to think that the front doesn't engage above 45 mph, but it does. And it engages hard anytime you hit the gas like during passing, no matter how fast you are going.

Has anyone had a chance to dyno their x to compare results ??

I think I finally figured out why the front wheels were turning on the dyno !
I was able to obtain a wiring diagram (schematic) and I've been studying it. Everyone was saying they spliced into the brown wire coming out of the TOD relay. According to my diagram the TOD relay splices into a brown wire coming from the ESCM and then goes to the MCC. I thought there may be enough power coming from the ESCM to make the clutch work.
Today I opened the dash to change a few burnt instrument cluster bulbs (I replaced them all) and to install a new set of guage faces. I figured there's no better time to resplice .... the dash is apart. I reconnected the TOD wire and traced the brown wire over the duct and down the left side. There it splices and and one wire goes to the ESCM and the other continues to the MCC ... I spliced at this point. I won't be able to put my x on the dyno for a week and a half but I'll keep you updated.
On another note the guages came out great !!
