brush gaurd for a '95 limited

i have called around and searched the internet and can't find a brush gaurd that will fit my 1995 limited edition explorer. one of the dealers around here told me it was because i had a plastic bumper. is there anything i can do short of putting an EB or XLT bumper on there. (really want to stay away from that route) like a bracket or something that it could mount directly to the frame or somehthing. I really like the look of the brush gaurds on the explorers and want one something fierce.

Im not sure (cause I dont have one) but Im pretty sure that most one peice brush guards have brackets that mount to the frame and maybe the limites bumper has something that is in the way of getting that bracket there. If you havent tried Manik, try them or maybe Smittybuilt or somethin (which Im sure youve looked at).
It could be that you have to trim your bumper plastic parts to fit it so companies say not for Limited edition because the want an easy installation for their non-mechanical customers. But this is just my thought process, take it for what its worth.

I bought one for a bronco II/Ranger at a junkyard for $20. I believe it mounts to both the bumper, and directly to the bumper mounts or frame.
