Brush Guard on Ranger and Explorer

I have a brush guard on my 96 X and I have a friend with a 99 Ranger, I was wondering if anyone knows if it will fit his Ranger before I go through the trouble of taking it off. I know this is a real specific question, but all input is appreciated.

For future reference, it will not fit. The bumper on the Ranger is too different than the one from the X.
