brush guard or bull bar, help me pick!!!!!

well here we are i am looking at these two mods. either this brush guard, but in hard crome for $135 shipped to door.

i think they both have pros. and cons., i do plan on putting on twin 100 watt lights either way.

so what do you guys think.

I just put a safari bar with a couple of the slim KC's on my sister's X. Looks pretty tight. It's along the same lines as that bull bar....not quite as high up the front though

I like the look of the brush guard, i don't know which one is strongest though. Seem like the brush guard would have more/better places to mount some lights though. It's your decision in the end...my vote is the brush guard though. Let us know what you decide...and pics are good

Mine's a second gen but you can kind of get the idea of what a bull guard might look like and with lights also. It mounts to the bumper, which isn't ideal but it does what I need it to and it looks nice IMO.

thanks everyone i am going to go with the bull bar. Becuase price, looks stronger, and better b/c of thinkness of the 3"tube.

i will not get it for a month or so but rest asure i WILL post a reply when i get it in. or one near it

yes is can do them in black (as i recall)

the guy was selling 7-8 at a time, but i can not find him right now.

but he is a power seller with 4,000+ rating, so i am sure they will be up again.

PS if i found him i will put a link here, i reason i did not do it before was i did not want competition, if i bided, but a found a local guy with a good price so i am waiting for my tax refund.

Westin Safari Bar

well i just got the safari bar and put it on early this week, i prefer the look, and has plenty of room for 4 lights, i just ordered a pair of KC-hilites Slimlites Fog 6" to put on it, should have soon. i'll try and get a pic of that when i'm done, go to accessconnect.com for the safari bar and lights, great prices.
