I would like to add what we used to call "push bars" to my 04. Don't like the looks of the bull bars, and don't need the extensions that cover the head lights. Anybody know of a maker?
Thanks,
Hubert

An eBay seller in CA has them for $139.00 + shipping.

Well, they were there last week.............

Setina and GoRhino make them too but they're more. They call what you're looking for a "center grille guard".

ordered

Thanks very much for the link, that looks to be exactly what I had in mind. I ordered one, so we'll see soon!

Get it yet????????????

Yes, I did. I'm very satisfied with it, one), it was exactly what I wanted, two) it was very simple to install, and three), everything (almost!) fit perfectly. The only uhoh, the gussets on the mounts are curved, and had a slight interferance with some sheet metal braces in the grill. Had they been cut straight, they probaby would not have been a problem. Two fixes, either break out the grinder and grind a small relief, or spacer the brackets down with a few washers. I chose the latter, since the powder coat was nice, and I didn't want to mess it up. I'm thinking about getting it recoated in white (it's black) to match the truck, and if I do I'll go the grinder route.
Note, however, it's not a "real" pushbumper, as the upper braces simply attach to the body sheet metal under the hood.
Looks good, though, the angle of the vertical pieces following the angle of the ST "nostrils". I can't seem to figure out how to post a pic...

That's great. It would push $200 to get one to me and I don't want one that bad. I'll find a used one closer, sooner or later.
