i know a lot of you guys have brush guards. any personal preference? also, are they really as easy to install as they say they are? i was looking under my truck and the frame is pretty far back. do they come with adapters?

get the manik one piece and it is REAL easy to install
all you need is a wrench and an extra person
 






I agree with Jeff on the Manik. Make sure to get the one peice version though. Another good basnd is WAGG. If you want to see how duriable they are read GJarrett's recap of his "Herc tour" and all the punishment he put his through.
 






Yes all good choices, as long as you don't want a winch or the capability to pull from the bumper. DO NOT BUY ONE FROM Genuine Steel Inustries. The brackets are very poor. I've had to bend those things back into place so many times........

Actually the Manik one peice has the ability to have a winch mounted to it.
