After lowering my truck 1 3/4", I am wondering f the ride quality will improve with the addition of the Explorer express Bump Stops?

Has amy of you lowered your truck and used the stock bump stops and then either cut the stocks ones or installed the EE ones?

Thanks....

when you hit the bumpstops, the suspension stops moving.

so, naturally, if you cut or replace the the stock bumpstops to allow more suspension travel, you'll have a better ride because you won't be hitting the bumpstops as often.

i cut about 1/4" off of my front bumpstops before lowering. i used a "hose cutter" and cut them without removing them.

i'm still hitting them in the front, but i'm going to wait until i get new shocks(still running stock) before i decide to trim anymore off.

there's still alot of clearance in the rear, so i haven't trimmed them yet. i have hit them in extreme circumstances, but i'm waiting on new shocks before i trim any off of these.

personally, i don't think there will be much of a difference between cut stock bumpstops and the ee ones.
