I haven't ever tried to do a burnout in my Ex. But I have noticed that in every truck I've ever driven, if you put it in reverse and floor it, you get some squealing. My driveway is long and goes uphill (as you leave the garage, up to the street). If I start from the back end and floor it all the way out, I can catch just a little air, and when I catch asphault again, my BFG's chirp. But as far as smoking, I'm afraid :smoke: is the best I can do.
Gimp - Yeah, I did that once with my mom's '97 Expedition. She doesn't know about that... That's probably why it needs what the dealer is calling a "soft rebuild" after only (?) 108,000 miles.
