They are? I never heard that before... Matt, is this true?

Another unsatisfied customer with prematurely burnt out PIAAs. Coincidence? I think not. :hammer:

Hmmm...that's weird. I got my bulbs exactly one year ago and they still work great! :knock on wood:

Oh crap!! I just jinxed it. Oh well, I'll get some money from christmas anyway. :D

PIAA headlight bulbs have a 90 day warantey. I have had them in my Cad. for two years and in the X for a year and a half. My two kids have had them for at least a year. Nothing burnt out.
No other co. waranties their bulbs even 90 days that I know of. You GOTTA be sure you dont touch or rub them putting them in. I always do the alcohol wipe on them to be sure.
Other than high wattage bulds you arnt going to find bulbs that you can see better with.
Might not be the color you want but they are for seeing, not being seen.

I'm not sure where the idea came about that PIAA's burn out so quickly, I'm not sure if some competitor is spreading bad word or what?
Directly off of PIAA's website:
PIAA WARRANTY
With the exception of bulbs, PIAA Corporation, USA ("PIAA") warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns them. Bulbs are warranted for one year from the date of purchase from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use (U.S. only).
And I sold about thirty sets of lights over a year ago and so far only two bulbs have come back burned out. To me that's not a bad rate. The ones that purchased within a year I was able to get replaced for free as should anyone that buys PIAA's from any store. If your not satisfied with the length, take them back and say they should still be covered.
I've personally had the same set of superwhites in my Explorer for over two years now and I've had the same bulbs in my F-150 for over a year so I'm not sure where the "bulbs are known to burn out quickly" thing came from.
