Buying 2004-2005

Hi,

I am looking at buying an 04-05 EB or Limited. Are there are things I should particularly becareful about or pay closer attention to?

Also, did the 04-05 come with an in Dash GPS option? If they did can this be added if it was not factory installed ( i Have a Jeep GC 03 and can buy the factory gps radio off ebay and install)

Hi Mark

As a former Ford Mercury master certified sales consultant, as to my knowledge, GPS was not a factory option until 2006. I think that even now it's only available on the Premier Mountaineer. I have not seen or heard of it being available on any explorer YET. I will check the ford sales consultant product knowledge web site to see if they have posted any info as to when it will be an option on the explorer. Hope it helps.
