and we're kind of hung up on which model.
We know we want sync with MFT. Regardless of bugs - we'll deal with all those - I want that funcitonality. This will be *my* vehicle so that's what I want darn it. (husband drives a 2008 Fusion SEL).
I'm trying to figure out if we want to go XL and beef it up with options or if we want to go base Limited.
We have no need for 4x4 - and we're toying with ecoboost. I currently drive a 2005 Freestar so sizewise, this is what we need. I have 3 kids ages 8, 12.5 & 13.5 so this car will be one that the older 2 learn to drive on. I don't want too many "helpers" for them but safety features are nice. If you get my drift. I don't want too many "crutches". They need to know how to *drive* the vehicle and be responsible for their choices - not having something doing it for them. This is one of my biggest beefs with the newer technologies the're putting in the vehicles. Anyways - I'll stop.
So - most of the posts I see out here are people who have bought the Limited. Anyone bought a mid-way XLT with or without ecoboost or someone with just a base Limited and think it's just right? I mean - in spite of it's glitches?
I'm learning a lot from this forum though - thanks guys.
