Buying an explorer with high miles...??

hello. i have been looking at an 2004 explorer XLT. it has 245k miles. Very high i know, but it appears well maintained and they replaced all of the gears and bearings changed, upper ball joints have been replaced, new thermostat and housing. what are problems i might run into if i buy? should i buy? they are asking below KBB value....any information would be appreciated!

Does it have the 4.6L V8 or the 4.0L V6 engine?

What "gears and bearings" are you referring to? (differentials, transmission or engine)

Sohc v6?

If it has the SOHC V6 I would find out if the timing chain cassettes and tensioners have been replaced. Otherwise, you could be looking at a possible engine replacement in the near future.
