I'm a new member looking to buy an explorer. Ever since I was a little kid (18 now), I admired my uncle's explorer (even drove it a few times) and so i thought it was time to get one of my own.
I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of a 1999-2001. I can't decide between a 2 door or 4 door... I live in a rural area near the beach. I'm not a heavy duty truck kind of guy nor am I considered country, so I thought an explorer would be the perfect fit for me.
I was wondering what kind of specs you guys think would be good for it.
Examples.. lift, tires, grill protector, 2 door or 4 door, etc.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
