Hi all,
once again a request, an advice to help this Italian Explorer fan who is in trouble.

I have to replace all brake tabs of my 96 explorer limited before it's too late, but they are hard to find here  and very very expensive, around $300

So, I thought to buy them on rockauto.com, but I need some advices as its the very first time I buy something online for this car.

The question is: I put the VIN and it resulted the car was built in the US in 1995, 4000cc, ohv, 4x4 limited... (vin is: 1fmdu34xxsua92269 )

I loked the rockauto site and wanted to buy some High performance/heavy duty brake pads, but there are a lot of them and I really don't know if ALL of them could fix my car. I searched for Ford--1995--explorer--4.0--brake--pads.

So, what else should I consider before buying them?
I thought about wagner "severe duty", both front and rear... do you think they would fit my car?

Thank you so much... your help could save me more than $150...

have a nice day and regards from sunny Italy

EDIT
I found some brake pads this afternoon in a shop, they sell it for about $110 and that is a good price compared to all the others, a little more expensive than rockauto but pads are already here and I can change them tomorrow.

My question is: FERODO Part # FSB1129 and #FLB1130 (daily driver) are marked on rockauto with the European Flag.
can you help me with this, do these pads fit my Explorer? I tried to understand this on the internet from the VIN but I couldn't.

Thanks a lot. Grazie mille.

Do what many of us do - take the old ones off first and take them with you to the parts store when you buy the new ones. My experience with rockauto.com on parts for several different cars is that they are very reliable when it comes to fit. And if they send you the wrong thing, I understand tht they are very good about making it right. Good luck.
