I think my selector knob says 2wd, 4wd, and 4-Lo. I'll go check and report back.

BW 4406 Output Shaft - Help!

then im pretty sure you have the 4405 & controltrac 4wd

You do have a BW4405. I believe you do have to split the cases to replace the drive gear, but I’m not positive.
