Bypassing ABS on a `97 Explorer?

Lets say I have a 1997 Ford Explorer. Lets also say that I have a need to bypass the ABS system, and have NORMAL brakes.

Is this possible?

Besides the obvious mechanical changes, what needs to be done to the electronics?

i've thought about doing this also. the best way that i've thought of to do this would be to just put the positive wire for the ABS fuse on a switch. it might set off the ABS light on the dash but you could always just consider it the on/off light.

I'm going to get the master cylinder which is available with a built in proportioning valve. Then remove the ABS module, Y the two front brakelines into one. Then hook up the front and rear lines to the MC. Seems easy enough. Then just figure out the ABS light.

or just take the abs light out of the cluster

I cut one of the Front ABS sensor wires, then wired in a switch so that I could turn it on or off. I could turn it off on the fly, then flip the switch back on, restart the motor and have full ABS again. Probably took 30 minutes or so to do.
