Has anyone bypassed the switches on both the glass and hatch so the interior lights don't come on when their opened? I have a '99 EB and don't want all 9 lights (runningboard, puddle and interior) to be on when the hatch is open. I'd like to be able to throw a switch to disable the lights when camping, fishing etc. The switch could be easily located next to the interior hatch lock switch. I need to know where the wires are and which ones to tap into.

doesn't your dimmer switch turn off all the interior (& puddle) lights if turned all the way down? that's what i do on my 2000/2001 models when i have the hatch or rear glass open for an extended period.
