98 Explorer Rear hatch light switch

just wondering where the switch is that turns on the interior lights when the hatch is open, I would like to disconnect for times when i have the hatch open for extended periods

just turn the interior lights off when you want to leave the hatch or a door open. If you turn the dimmer switch all the way down it will turn them off.
