Is anyone in the Calgary area interested in going out to play next Sunday, June 20? It would probably just be playing around for a few hours.

I know that Barry M. is in Calgary but there might be others.

I will be going anyway but it would be nice to have others along.

Hmm.. I don't know anyone else around here with Explorers willing to take them off-road.

Bragg Creek is a good OHV area, unless you've heard of or would like to check out somewhere else?

I know what you mean! Explorers are just not trail worthy vehicles. Dead Link Removed What kind of fool would actually take one off road, let alone modify a soccer wagon? Dead Link Removed

Bragg Creek sounds good are you up to a little playing on Sunday?

Ya, I'm up for stretching my wheels a bit. I want to see how you do in where I got stuck last year. (see "Barry's Explorer" in the readers submission section..)

Last time I was out a few weeks ago, there was a Ministry of Environment truck out there by a newly locked gate - I hope they aren't starting to close trails out there.

Well that was a good day today, Paul! Thanks for your superb spotting. I think though a couple inches of lift and some 32's will do me some good though - less worry for a stocker like myself.

Too bad we didn't have the camera for when those three Quad's were giving it all they had pulling my out of that hole - definately was a kodak moment there..

It was fun. Now I know what Rick meant when he said it was a completely different experience from the passengers seat.

Actually there were quite a few photo ops that we missed. The three quads all tied together pulling us out was the best though. Dead Link RemovedThe trails are actually quite challenging in some spots for a stock height vehicle.

I think that a 2.5 inch lift and bigger(and more agressive) tires would be a good decision.

Next time I will make sure that I don't break down in my driveway, that should be saved for the trail. Dead Link Removed
