Don't worry about draging me along. I'll run what I can and enjoy the campfire when you all go on the bigger stuff.

I have a flag on my truck...But the only flag that I use when wheeling is my hand waving for you to come pull me out.

no uwharrie is not the desert and its easy no one should get stuck really bad unless you are not that great of a driver

It's realy not that bad there. I was just trying to get a laugh.

Well did a little wheeling last night and my tires really s**k going up hill. Iv'e gone up steep hills before but I was able to get a little momentom. Last night I was going back out the way I came in then I got to this part with loose dirt that had to crawl because of trees and a dropoff. I wasn't even close, had to cut a few trees and go out threw a creek. Had to have a 2wd ranger rank me over a rip-rap wash out, sad.

I can't afford to get good tires at this time but would a set of snow chains get me by till I can save up some money? I'm affraid I'm going to hold everyone up.

I ran into another problem with my tranny temp. going over 275(pegged guage so I don't know how high it actually got). I think I wasn't getting enough air flow threw radiator trying work my way threw a jungle. Is there any kind of aux. electric fan that can be added to the secondary cooler?

You COULD add a fan, but I would just go to autozone and get a bigger Trans cooler for it. It would be easy to do, faster and cost about the same. I also wouldn't sweat the tires. You have four wheel drive, and that place isn't a jungle. When I go through there I only use my four wheel drive when I need it. About three times for the whole day. My friend with the blazer (AlphaKennyOne) needs tires worse than you do prob and I've talked him into get a set of 30's before this trip, but I think I'm going to make him wait till after so he can decide what size he wants. 33's!;)

like a prize fighter with a hooker :)

What is the plan for camping? Is somebody gettting a group site? I've got myself and at least 2 others coming unless something changes. We'll have 1 truck and 2 or 3 fourwheelers. They may be another person with a jeep also.

Is anybody still reading this? Are ya'll getting a group site or do I need to get my own?

You need to get one on the other side of ure so i dont throw rocks and stuff at you..

actually if you can grab a group site and i'll give you cash when i get there.

I'm reading this... Count me out for camping. I live close enough to drive twice if I decide to. Is everyone going to be there over the weekend or is there going to be a certain day for a bigger turn out?

I am definitely shooting for being there the whole weekend. If I have anyone coming with me, it will only be to ride along. But as of yet, I am flying solo.

It's still a go for me and my family.:salute:

Is there a cost to camp? I was planning on getting our own site but as close as possible, but that all deponds on if there is a charge, if so how much.

That's not nice...:(

I guess I'll plan on getting our own site at arrowhead again. That worked out pretty well last time.

I'm officially locked in the front and on 33's now :D

No regear yet. It pulls ok on the highway, but I'll be running low range all day on the trails. They're 33x12.50x15 Mastercraft Courser MTs on the same 15x8's I had.

Your sig gets bigger and bigger. I still love those wheels. I've got some 15x8's to go on my turtle wagon, but need some suspension parts to get some clearance that I need due to the offset.
