doppler, are you still going to be driving down saturday night?, if so we may be able to set a time and place and meet up. We will be setting camp, but will have to come out to get food. So far, the ones I know camping are me and a nissan friend of mine. havent talked to much with the ranger guys about it.

lol, niice, you definetly caught me on that one. uh, there MAY be a few more rangers from saturday, theres I think 5 of us going on saturday, one I know for sure isnt camping that night, but the others have no clue.

well its a 6-7 hourtrip for me its not worth it unless i can make a long weekend out of it. i will be down there sometime in april and will make sure to let everone know when i get the dates, hopefully i will be locked on 33's by then

Nothing went as I planned it. I did leave @ 8, and got to the trails @ 10 or so. I kind of got lost. I never did see any of you, guys that I could recognize. I just wheeled alone. I left when I got bored from wheeling by myself. Oh well! I'm planning to go again next month before they close the park for the winter. DEC 2 and 3rd. If anybody wants to join me, I'll be there.

We waited for you man. what time we actually left from the outpost, It was around 10:40 or so. I think we all had fun, first trail we tackled was Daniel, and ya know how I was saying I was gonna break something, yup, sure enough, Im unsure if its a rock thrown up into the flywheel, I looked, no missing teeth on the flywheel. getting a rocks in a dryer sound when starting it, and a vibration once I got on the road, that may be something else though.

It's cool. I wanted to meet up so bad. Maybe next time. I had the same thing happen to my expo. It was the flexplate/flywheel. The center hub was ripped out. This is how it came out of the truck.

so, you had the same vibrations and bad starter sound when you first cranked, like rocks were in there? if so, cool, I will able to sleep tonight knowing that its nothing too major.

It made this terrible sound kind of like what your describing. Vibrated horrible above 55 mph or so. Sometimes it wouldn't start at all. I would have to turn the crank a little first by hand. I drove it like that for about 3 months. Then It finally died. Results are posted above.

yep mine starts at 55 also, and normally a bump initiates it, and once it starts it wont stop until I come to a complete stop

Mine sounded like it came from the flywheel/torque converter area. The sound was terrible. I felt like everyone was looking at me...in a bad way. I Hope that it's the problem...Or something easer!
