What is everybodys experience with the Comp cams in a 4.0 OHV 256HR or 270HR?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a friend of mine crunching the numbers between the two cams and the factory cams. Of course, in order to take full advantage, you will need to improve upon the factory intake system and exhaust. Then you will be able to take full advantage of the cam.

any feedback regarding the 256HR in stock replacement application? i'm looking for a little more low end out of the old dog... without an intake and exhaust, what kind of gains can I expect?

I have ported heads and intake with headers. I used the stock cam when I rebuilt the motor. I wish I had atleast used the 256HR.
