What does each one mean? Ford dealership performed 00M12 on my car, but they did not explain to me what it included. If anybody knows plese explain. And also the symptoms of that problem.
THANKS.

They are the codes recalls. If the letter is "S" then it is a safety recall. You can find what the recalls were on NHTSA

They were not a recall, they were an Owner Notification Program for a mechanical issue 'M'. Ford will fix the issue at no cost to the customer provided they can verify the item has failed and the vehicle meets the requirements of the program. On a recall, Ford has to replace the item whether it has failed or not.

00M12 was issued for the lower intake manifold o-rings and camshaft tensioners.

01M01 was issued for the front left camshaft chain guide.

Do a search for either of these and you will find a wealth of information about them.

recalls

Yep, Robert is right. Had both done to my EX last year. The dealer told me Ford said to do both of these services together even if only one required service. Maybe this was just policy in my area? I would bypass the dealership and ask Ford directly about this. Maybe this will show on a search.

By both you mean 00M12 and 01M01, or 00M12 cam shaft tensioner and a gasket.
Thanks.

Yes, both 00m12 and o1mo1 were done at the same time. Cam chain tensioners and lower intake manifold gaskets.
