Camper shell 3rd brake light wiring

OK I got a great deal on a used Fiber Force color matched Shell. The guy never hooked up the 3rd brake light. I am concerned about hooking it to the system then having it blink when i turn on the direction signal lights. Where do I find a wire that supplies brake light power only? 2008 Ranger Supercab 2wd. Thanks for any help.

There are no "brake only" wires at the back end of your 2008. It appears that the only option is to tap the wire that runs between the Brake Pedal Position switch and the factory CHMSL. The color code is purple with white stripe.
