Hi, my left brake light works, and the right does not. I have checked and replaced the bulb, fuse, and found a thread about the MFS, but can't confirm if that is the problem. As a temporary fix, can I simply tap into the left brake light and run a wire to the right brake light? Would I need to temporarily disconnect the right light wires and hook up only the jumper from the left? Or can I tap the jumper from the left into the right side and leave the right side hooked up as well?
The right side light comes on, but it does not register when the brake is applied. thanks for any help!!

the stock wire to the tail lights is a single wire, it splits and leads to both lamps, so the answer is yes you can tap into the working brake light wire and run a jumper, but you are better off findihng why the factory wiring isnt working (same thing) unwrap it and follow it, its not that hard to find....

thanks

Thanks Fortune,
Where does it split? It leaves the bulb housing and goes straight into the side of the vehicle. Where can I get a drawing of how the wire is routed so I can follow it?
thanks!
